Having outlined the concept of energy citizenship itself in our first brief, this second publication in the series provides an overview of shortcomings identified at the European level. It explores in further detail the kinds of actionable recommendations that can be made at this level to facilitate and accelerate a just and sustainable energy transition.
The publication provides insights for policymakers both in terms of broad regulatory changes, and specific actions and tools.
